RuBackup version 2.9.0 has successfully completed compatibility testing with storage systems manufactured by BAUM-Inform. The results have been formalized with an official certificate issued by the companies involved.
The testing focused on the interaction between RuBackup and BAUM-Inform equipment during backup and data recovery procedures. All checks were conducted according to a pre-approved program and methodology developed by the participating organizations.
BAUM-Inform storage systems are intended for data storage and processing within corporate infrastructures. RuBackup, developed by the company of the same name that belongs to Group Astra, is used to create backups and restore information after failures or incidents.
The solution supports a wide range of environments, including physical servers, end-user workstations, virtualization platforms, mail systems, databases, and domain infrastructure components.
Confirmed compatibility means that the two products can be deployed together in a single infrastructure without requiring customers to perform their own integration testing. This factor is especially relevant when building technology stacks based entirely on Russian solutions, where the number of verified combinations remains limited compared with the total number of available products.
Representatives of BAUM-Inform noted that the completed testing helps lower risks associated with the implementation and ongoing operation of the combined solution. RuBackup developers described the integration as an important step in strengthening the Russian ecosystem of data storage and protection technologies.
Customers now have an additional officially validated option: data is stored on BAUM-Inform systems, backups are created by RuBackup, and the interoperability of the two products has already been verified prior to installation in the data center.
