In 2026, analysts expect triple-digit revenue growth from equipment based on this standard, with the segment continuing to expand for another three years. In its peak year, corporate Wi-Fi 7 devices could generate more revenue than Wi-Fi 6E solutions achieved over their entire lifecycle.
Additional market drivers include cloud management and AIOps capabilities that automate network operations using artificial intelligence. The segment of publicly cloud-managed WLAN solutions is growing faster than the overall market, while intelligent features boost software revenue. The broader wireless networking market is expected to keep expanding, although expensive components and equipment will partially temper demand.
