Yandex Market Launches Click Delivery with 24-Hour Post-Payment for Clothing and Accessories
Yandex Market has rolled out a new delivery format known as click delivery with post-payment. Under this scheme, buyers receive their order, try on and examine the goods at home, and are charged only after 24 hours for the items they decide to keep.
The option is designed primarily for clothing, footwear, and accessories. Users no longer need to conduct fittings at pickup points under the pressure of waiting lines. Instead, they can order several sizes or models, verify quality, and select the right items without haste.
Returns are allowed within one day. No separate return request is required: purchases can be given to a Yandex Lavka courier or dropped off at a Yandex Market pickup point. The rest of the order is then charged automatically.
Post-payment is not available for the entire catalog. It works only with goods that can be purchased in installments through Split and when click delivery is selected. Customers must choose the corresponding delivery method and click "Pay after receipt."
Once the order arrives at the nearest Yandex Lavka point, the "Deliver now" button appears in the app, allowing the courier to be summoned at a convenient time. The service is already operating in 26 regions of Russia, and the company intends to expand its geography further. Yandex Market describes the format as a new way of receiving orders for the Russian market.
