The Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) has opened a specialized IT laboratory designed to train students in working with Russian system and office software as part of ongoing import substitution efforts.

Successful participants will receive developer certificates, and the most qualified students may be selected for internships at partner companies. The laboratory will be used by students of the Institute of Public Service and Management as well as the Institute of Economics, Mathematics and Information Technologies. Available study areas include digital literacy, data management, artificial intelligence, and information-analytical technologies in municipal governance. RANEPA plans to keep such specialized classrooms operating at a minimum 90 percent capacity.
